What is a Control Cable ?
Automotive control cable is a steel cable used to stabilize steel structures or tensioned membrane finished steel cables. It is composed of steel strands, cable anchors, cable heads, etc., and is widely used in brakes, accelerators, and gear shifts of automobiles, motorcycles, ships, and airplanes. It can be pulled to change the transmission gear, clutch, brake wire rope, used to manipulate the speed or traction of the machine, cargo or door lock. Usually installed on the engine carburetor, fuel pump, throttle, transmission, clutch, wheel hub.
